I took my vehicle to Matts after my previous shop was too busy to get my car in. My heat went out in the coldest time of the year so waiting a week wasn't happening. Vern and his staff went above and beyond!! They got my car in, diagnosed what was wrong, worked with my extended warranty company to get it covered and took care of the fix. When the warranty company would only cover an aftermarket part, Vern let me know his concerns with this particular part and we made sure to put in the right one. Anyone who cares about their vehicle, and cares about customer service need to come here! You won't be disappointed.

They Put the license plates on for me and charged for $11.38,which just took seconds. They spent 4 hours to check the cooling system and engine light on, just advise fee $126 without fixing anything, that's ridiculous! I will never go to this place again!!!

While it is unfortunate to hear you had an unpleasant experience, we appreciate your feedback as we cannot learn and continue growing from these experiences otherwise. I would like to apologize that you felt we had not provided you with exceptional service. Regarding your complaints, I would like to address that you had called asking to come in to have your vehicle looked at and our Service Manager, Vern, had informed you that you could bring your vehicle in at 2 pm and he would do his best to work the vehicle into the schedule as it was a busy day. You had two separate issues with your vehicle when you came in which included a check engine light and coolant leak. You had also requested an oil service that included a free state of health report and to install your license plates. When our ASE Certified technician inspected your vehicle, he found three additional and separate issues that we informed you of and provided estimates to repair that you declined. The time that it took to diagnose your coolant leak took longer to discover as the system was holding good pressure and did not drop over several hours. You agreed to let us hold the pressure overnight to see if it would drop. We try to service vehicles as quickly as possible; however, in your case, additional time was required to determine the problem that we did not charge for. We also do apologize for the miscommunication of the cost to install your license plates. As we are a business who operates on selling our time for service in order to continue to stay in business, there was, in fact, a charge for that installation. Our vehicles engine stalled 20 miles from Fargo and we live in Minot. The engine didn't run so we were without heat, stranded with four children. AAA towed us to Matt's. my husband stayed in the shop hoping it was a quick fix, he was told they were busy and might not look until the end of the day. They prioritized installing autostarts over stranded motorists. We had to stay the night and was told they would call in the morning. We waited patiently until 10am and called. They had put the vehicle on the lift earlier and could find nothing wrong and we could come get it. The diagnostics that our mechanic doesn't charge for, Matts did. We were almost home and it stalled again. We got it to our mechanic and the engine coil, spark plugs and case all required repair. Matts automotive did not find this obvious issue that our mechanic discovered immediately. Our mechanic would never have allowed us to drive with the children in a vehicle with that issue. I am relieved there were no dire consequences, but sending motorists out on the highway with this issue and obvious danger in frigid ND weather is incomprehensible. Terrible customer service with incompetent mechanics, they will however charge top dollar prices.

Went in for oil change, heater worked fine, left and it didnt work, went back and they wanted $500 to fix it, took it somewere else and they fixed it for $240. Not honest and grossly over priced. I will not ever take my vehicle back there again.

Thank you for taking the time to review us, Brian. We strive to provide the best possible experience and want each of our customers to leave feeling they received a 5-star service. Unfortunately, that was not the case with you and your experience. The vehicle was brought to us by your wife, it had come in for an oil service which includes a state of health inspection free of charge, in which we visually inspected multiple areas of the vehicle and discussed any recommendations from our technician that were needed. About 15 minutes after the vehicle left, your wife called and spoke to Vern, our Service Manager to inform us that your defrost was not working and he advised to bring it back and we would inspect what may have caused the defrost to not work. The vehicle went back into the shop for over 45 minutes and our lead ASE Master Certified technician found that the blower motor had failed and required replacement. The time spent, normally is charged at $79.99, was not charged to you. We then provided you with a recommendation for a blower motor and resistor, as those parts can often fail together. Vern did inform your wife that the blower motor was the root cause and we could start with only repairing that part. The estimate provided included the replacement of the blower motor and resistor and the time involved in diagnosing the repair as that was the route that would normally be involved for an issue of your concern. I do apologize if that was not clearly explained to you. If you have questions or concerns about your experience, I would be more than happy to speak to you as through feedback like this, we able to use this to provide better service to each customer. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We were on our way from Canada to Arizona and our blower motor stopped working. It was cold and in no time our windows all fogged up. After contacting both Ford dealerships and a Truck Centre and being told we'd have to wait till next week for an appointment, Matt's took us in the same afternoon. They ordered the part, disassembled the truck while they were waiting for it to arrive and when it got there, they just had to pop it in. We only lost an hour and we were back on the road. Thank you so much for the fast, efficient service. Much appreciated!!!
