I wouldn’t recommended this company or trust them with servicing my elderly parents. Our vehicle went in for service before a road trip and left without a basic fluids check resulting in a blown motor less than a week later. They can’t prove they serviced the fluids and they don’t keep documented record of their service. When asking for a record of the service performance specifically checking the fluids, we were profanely and unprofessionally communicated with by the store manager. The mechanic my vehicle was diagnosed at didn’t find any mechanical failure. It just didn’t have oil in it. They won’t cover the damages caused by their oversight and we are out $5,000 including the $150 they charged us for “fueling up the tank” when they checked it over. Save yourself a nightmare and choose a different auto service.
Thank you Mana for taking an opportunity to leave us a review. All feedback from our guests is important to us so that we can learn and improve for our future guests. We do want to take some time addressing your concerns because while that is the situation you are dealing with, there are a lot of very incorrect claims in there. In regards to the fluids check on your vehicle and the service it was in for recently, the vehicle came into us with a no-start condition. We ran tests on the van including a fuel pressure and circuit test to determine that the vehicle was out of gas. Unfortunately with any vehicle, we do not necessarily want to rely on the gauge on the dash when a vehicle will not start, as that could be a completely unrelated issue to why the vehicle would not start. Hindsight being 20/20 is always easier to say, we could have just added gas, but we try to give the customer the benefit of the doubt that they did not run the vehicle out of gas. In regards to your concern about the fluids check, we did offer to perform a vehicle inspection, to which you had declined, stating “you did not have any more money for the vehicle and were not concerned with having it checked because another facility had recently looked at it.” As far as checking the engine oil goes, our technician found the vehicle to have no fuel pressure after his initial inspection and had no reason to check the engine oil when the vehicle didnt have fuel pressure. He continued on those tests to determine there was no fuel in the vehicle. We added fuel and charged for that fuel, and the vehicle ran. You declined an inspection, so nothing else was done. You also did not mention that you were able to drive this vehicle over 600 miles before an issue was presented. This alone indicates oil was in the engine when the vehicle left our facility, and it is clearly either using oil or leaking oil and again, not something you had us inspect during the visit. We are very sorry that this is the situation you are in and offered to help as much as we could, but unfortunately we did not cause the engine to run out of oil, and we followed the instructions you provided us when servicing it the last time it was in. If you would like to speak further about this, feel free to reach out to our General Manager at 701-478-3838. We hope you have a good day.
