$1,590.03 just fix the in cabin heater knob on my 03 Buick Rendezvous. Then I was quoted $775.00 for the repair of my tie rod ends and stabilizer bar. Found out those parts cost around 40 a piece. The rest must be labor....I found someplace else that will do it for $200.00. Do your research and look around before bringing your car here for repairs......Never again.....
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, Brant. We value all of our reviews very highly as this is how we can grow and learn as a company. We had your Rendezvous in to Matt’s Automotive and Collision Center in November. You communicated with us that your knob controlling your heat was not working. You also informed us that you had no air coming out of the vents. Our master technician, Daren, determined that the blower motor had been drawing too many amps causing the connector at your HVAC control module (where the knob is located) to melt. We recommended replacing these parts. Our Rockstar service advisor, Ryan, described in detail what the failure was and asked for your approval. We also recommended other repairs on your vehicle including the tie rod ends and stabilizer bar as you had mentioned. However, there must have been a miscommunication on the price because the loose tie rod end replacement and alignment required with that job was only $460. The stabilizer bar that was broken and recommended totaled at $730. We apologize for any miscommunication on our part. In regards to the cost of parts, there are many companies that sell these parts at different qualities. We pride ourselves in providing high quality parts that we can stand behind with our leading warranty. We try to offer options when available, but we try to provide more value than the cost of the parts. We attempted to reach out to you to discuss this, but it seems as though we are unable. We would love the opportunity to speak with your experience with us and wish you a great day.
