Did not do what I asked but did manage to come up with $2,000 worth of suggested repairs that 2 other shops don’t think I need done. Went to another shop and got my alignment done as I asked for less money and they did not have any recommend repairs.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, Jeffrey. We strive to deliver a five star experience with every visit, and we regret you didn’t find our service to meet your needs. We had your Expedition in to our South Moorhead location to have an alignment done, however when when our master technician Zachary inspected your vehicle during the alignment he discovered that the rear upper control arms were loose. We could have gone ahead and performed the alignment, but a vehicle with loose control arms will not remain aligned. We don’t want to charge you for an adjustment that we know will not last for you. We understand that you feel the repairs were not necessary and our Service Manager Jessica reached out to you and offered to get your Expedition back on the hoist and show you the loose control arms that any responsible technician would identify as not conducive to a successful alignment, however you declined. With your permission, we do a 70 point state of health inspection every time your vehicle comes in. The suggested repairs and services on your documentation were things discovered in that inspection that could effect the safety and performance of your vehicle. In the case of your Expedition, we recommended things such as as testing on a TPMS warning light that is on and changing out contaminated differential and transfer case fluids. We stand by our recommendations 100%, and we never make any repairs or perform any services without your knowledge and approval, and we will never take your money for repairs that we know won’t fix your problem. We again would be happy to show you our findings and in the event you would like us to do so, please just let us know as none of our team members are paid any sort of commission, so there would be no benefit for them to recommend something that is not legitimate.
