All feedback is good for us as we cannot improve our customer's experiences if we do not know how we are doing. We are sorry to see you felt your service was only a three-star experience. We always strive for 5-star experiences on every visit but do understand that is not always going to be the case. In regards to your service and your comment about the services that are normally not charged for; Vern, our service Manager took the time to explain the recommended services and steps we were going to need to go through when replacing the water pump on your Saab. He provided you with a cost breakdown during the phone call explaining the failure on your vehicle. He also provided you with the benefits of doing these services. When replacing a water pump, in order for us to provide our leading 3year/36,000 mile nationwide warranty, a coolant flush is a required service that needs to be done to ensure the coolant is at proper levels and is clean to not only protect the new water pump from premature failure, but your entire cooling system and engine. We recommended performing another pressure test after the water pump was replaced due to you having coolant in other areas of the engine compartment and we wanted to ensure we were sending you out with a fully repaired vehicle, not one that may have more issues. We have to charge for our time, or we will not be able to assist our other awesome customers. We charge for hazardous materials and shop supplies to cover any supplies we use during the service of your vehicle, instead of charging you for each rag, chemical, nut, and bolt, or cleaning materials, as we can use these over several repairs and it wouldn’t be fair to charge you for a whole container of something if we only used a portion of it. We are happy to hear you were pleased with the repair that our All-Star ASE certified technician Tom had performed. Our goal is always to keep you out on the road as long as possible. We understand that having a vehicle break down and getting it repaired can be stressful, and we strive to make that experience the best possible one. We are sorry we didn’t exceed your expectations, but if you are ever back in Fargo and need any assistance with any repairs to your vehicle, we would be happy to assist you again.
