I brought my 2012 camaro in to get the a/c fixed. They charged me 173$ for an inspection which is already ridiculous. They had my car for about a day and they told me that a valve needed to get replaced which was 60$ plus 260$ labor. So I agreed and got an oil change as well so the total came out to 568$. Anyway they call me when my cars done so I go pick it up and the A/C quit working as soon as I started driving for about a minute or two. I called them the next business day saying it went out again. They told me I would need to pay another 173$ to have them look at it again. I did not agree to this, but they wouldn’t look at it until I paid. So I paid them and they call me later that day saying my a/c unit is shot and the estimate is 2,800$ on top of the 650$ I spent having them fix it the first time. I don’t have that much money to get my a/c fixed so I declined the service and wanted my money back from the work they did before and they refused. They told me that there was “underlying conditions” that they couldn’t have known about. I have taken my car to 3 other auto shops to get inspected and they tell me im going to need a new a/c system. So how do they all know I need a new a/c on their first time inspecting it?🤔 anyway I’m out 650$ and still don’t have a/c. If you like waisting money bring your car to Matt’s.

Our car was in Matt’s Automotive for 2 weeks after being hit by one of my daycare parents. We were very pleased with the customer service, Justin was was great! We never had to call about updates, they always reached out to us, they talked directly to our insurance company, when we got our car back it was clean inside and out, we even had a little stuffed animal in our car seat which our son loved. It’s the little things that make you appreciate and recognize companies. They go above and beyond. Very professional yet treated you like family. Hopefully we won’t need to return to a shop for a while but if we do, we plan to return to Matt’s automotive again and again. Highly recommended. They deserve a 5 star rating.

I had a great first experience with Matt's. I needed several overdue maintenance items performed. I called to get a quote on everything, first, and the price point stayed right where I expected it. They also looked into an issue I was having and I have another appointment scheduled soon to get that fixed (hopefully the first time!) The staff was very helpful and walked me through every step of the work being done and what the cost would be BEFORE completing anything.

I'd just like to start with how appreciative I am for Matt's, I took my car in had more then a few things replaced. They called and kept me updated with everything that was happening, all in all great customer service to go along with good work. I'd definitely 10/10 recommend.

Justin and the guys at Matt's automotive and collision center were awesome to work with. They got the job done quickly and I'm extremely pleased with the work. Communication was great and I always knew what was going on. I recently bought a first car for my son that needed a few small repairs. I talked to Justin and he has been super helpful in finding parts and at a great price to keep the repairs within our budget. I can't recommend them enough!

I had my vehicle towed in because it wouldn't start and I had a flat. They repaired the flat and replaced the battery. Then they gave me an estimate stating I had some bulbs that needed to be replaced. Instead of paying them their inflated price I decided to buy the bulbs and do it myself. The problem was when I drove off it wasn't just one or two bulbs. It was all of my interior lights, radio, and air conditioning. I have limited knowledge when it comes to vehicles and even I knew this was a fuse and not bulbs like they said. So I typed in my make/model and the problems I was having when I got home. The first thing that popped up was a fuse between the battery and the fuse box. How could they miss this? How much time of mine were they willing to waste? I will not be going back.

Tom, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review in regards to your vehicle. We appreciate all feedback, whether good or bad as that allows us as a company to grow and learn from our experiences. We always strive for every customer to have a 5 star experience but understand that isn’t always the case. When you first contacted us, you were speaking with one of our service advisors, Josh. The vehicle arrived to us from AAA and we immediately tried to provide you help. The conversation you had with Josh made it seem as though you wanted the vehicle jump started so you could drive away, but also was dealing with a flat tire. We determined that it would probably be best for us to fix the tire and perform our complimentary 70 point state of health inspection which included a battery test. When our awesome technician Talyn went to drive the vehicle into the shop he had to jump start the vehicle. He was able to repair the tire and perform that visual inspection with the battery test and determined that the battery was testing bad, along with a few other recommendations. You approved us to replace the battery and no other recommendations at this time. When Talyn was replacing the battery, he did check the date code on that battery and saw that it was not under any warranty that we would have been away of. Talyn noticed during his light inspection that you had several bulbs that were not working. Our reasonable assumption was that the bulbs may be burnt out and that was where we would have started. It is possible there were more electrical issues that we probably would have encountered had we been approved to replace the bulbs. We can understand your frustration when you arrived several days after our repairs were complete to find some of your interior electronic accessories not to be working and can also understand that you may believe they could be tied into the fuses or the lighting issues. We would love the opportunity to determine what may be causing these issues but as a business, we would need to charge for our time into determining what may be causing those issues. As stated before, we performed a complimentary inspection that serves as a visual inspection of the vehicle which does not involve any direct testing to your electrical failures. Once again, we certainly appreciate you reaching out to us. We hope that in the future, we may be able to have another chance at assisting you with your vehicle needs.

I've always had good experiences with Matt's automotive, I went to his Moorhead location when they first opened and Matt always did good work, met timelines, and had great customer service. Now I go to 42nd St location a lot Vern does a great job. they always work with me on various things my fleet needs to stay running. I've recently brought a truck to the collision center when I hit a deer, Justin has done a great job communicating with myself and insurance and getting things taken care of. Sometimes the problems I have with my fleet are complicated and it seems like they have really skilled technicians that get problems figured out and solved efficiently as well as good service managers who can get things scheduled right and they do work that I trust.
