I was hoping they were the ones. I have always had a personal mechanic until the last couple years. I been looking for a shop to be a loyal customer too and I noticed Matt’s. I was excited to try them and had high hopes, even though their more expensive than others. I rather pay more for a service if is good, straightforward and honest. I ended up getting dissatisfied and used. This is how it went.. First time going there, I told them, I’m pretty sure my driver side wiper motor is going out. They told me that they have to run an electrical diagnose, it will cost 135 and it would take a hour to two hours to diagnose my problem. Two and half hours went by and never got a call. I’m okay with them taking longer than it should become it’s hard to find the issue. But I’m not okay with them not calling to let my know it’s going to take longer than expected. So after four and half hours they told me it was a sensor that was causing my wipers to not work and if that’s not the cause. Come in, they will look at it again and it won’t cost anything. They already looked it and it will still count for the last visit. I had to resay it back to the receptionist because I was beyond happy how amazing the customer service was for them to say that. I told MANY people how wonderful they are to honor their work like that. Within 24 hours after I left, the wipers stopped. Sadly, it was on a Saturday and they are close on weekends. I was meaning to call them on Monday morning but I work 50+ hours (example, last week I ended working 68 hour) at a highly demanding job that makes me be three hours away from Fargo. So I wasn’t able to call until Tuesday and wasn’t able to get it in until the week after because of my my job. So the following week I drop it off before I had to work (pro, they have a key box so you are available to drop off your vehicle before hours. Super handy for a person that works 14 hours days. Con, can’t pick up your vehicle after hours so I had to take a personal day the next day to pick it up. That day they looked at it, the receptionist called me over the phone and told me, my vehicle sensor never got cleared and it was their fault. My driver wiper moves slower than the passenger side. I had some questions and after I said okay, cool. There was an extremely long pause and then he said k, bye and hung out. Extremely weird and not professional at all. (Pro, they seemed straightforward and honest with the problem) Next morning, I went to pick up my vehicle, I ended up paying additional 135 and when I got to my vehicle, my wipers didn’t work. I was irate. I went in to tell them they didn’t fix my vehicle. They told me the driver side wiper motor needs to be replaced.
